Lawson Robinson Hawke's Bay A&P Society Scholarship
Recognising excellence in our rural communities
Lawson Robinson are proud to have an association with the Hawke's Bay A&P Society for this, the 2020 Lawson Robinson Hawke's Bay A&P Society Scholarship.
The scholarship is now in its 8th year since the inaugural Lawson Robinson Scholarship was offered in 2013.
This scholarship aims to recognise outstanding academic and leadership qualities in a student currently enrolled in a full time land based production industries programme, either graduate or post-graduate, at a New Zealand University.
Preference will be given to applicants, who are within one year of completing their studies. They will have a familial association with Hawke's Bay and are, or have been, involved in the practical aspects of the industry to which the programme is linked.
The recipient will receive NZD$3,000 towards their course fees.
The criteria for selection will be based on leadership potential and academic merit. It is hoped that the recipient will ultimately seek employment in Hawke's Bay and pass on the benefits of their learning to the community at large.
Entry forms are available from our offices; at 73 Raffles Street, Napier, from the Hawke's Bay A&P Society or you can download our application form here.
Application have closed now for 2020 and the winning recipient will be announced at the Hawkes Bay Primary Sector awards postponed until later this year.
