Welcome to Lawson Robinson
Local lawyers with a wealth of experience.
Lawson Robinson opened its doors in April 2009 in newly refurbished premises located at 73 Raffles Street, Napier.
Directors, Matthew Lawson and Blair Robinson had the vision of setting up a dynamic legal practice that offered professional, timely and quality legal advice.
After many years of working within the Hawke's Bay legal profession both Matthew and Blair were driven to set up their own practice to offer legal services in an atmosphere that more reflected their styles and nature. Lawson Robinson's focus is one of traditional values and understanding of client's needs in an environment where experience, knowledge, systems and technology keep us at the forefront of our profession.
Both Matthew and Blair are born and bred in Hawke's Bay completing their schooling years in the Bay and returning following obtaining their university qualifications.
Another common factor is that they are both third-generation lawyers. Matthew's father Alex Lawson was a Partner in the firm of Le Pine Alty in Napier and was the local Coroner for a number of years. Blair's grandfather Arthur “Robbie” Robinson founded the firm Robinson Toomey in Napier which went on to merge with Lusk Willis to create Willis Toomey Robinson. Russell Robinson, Blair's father, is a former partner of Willis Toomey Robinson.
This is the establishment of a new and dynamic legal practice which offers substantial experience in an innovative manner from people committed to their clients and their local community.
